Flight Search Results, Airfare Price Prediction - Farecast

Farecast initially told me to "Buy Now" at a higher price. But, since then, it's been telling me to "Wait". Today, the fare actually dropped, and it's telling me to continue waiting. So now, I'm a happy customer.

Quoted: Farecast.com is the world's first airfare prediction site. Our patent pending Fare Prediction shows if fares for your trip will rise or drop over the next 7 days. Search for flights and know when to buy.

Sweet! Save us as much money as you can! I'm going to ask my professor about skipping class the Wednesday before so we could leave Tuesday night...

How to Change the World: Reality Check: cFares

Interesting model. Going to give this site a try next time I need to purchase airfare.

Quoted: However, in order to get direct access to cFares’s “net” wholesale airfares, one-of-a-kind deals, and cAgent, consumers must become Platinum members at a cost of $50/year. This is the Costco model where a membership-driven retailer brings consistently low wholesale prices directly to the consumer. With cFares this membership pays for itself in at most two trips.

ABC News: US Airways to Place Ads on Sickness Bags

I first thought this was ridiculous...but, if it keeps airfare lower, why not?

Quoted: The Tempe, Ariz.-based airline plans to sell advertisements on its air-sickness bags — those pint-sized expandable envelopes tucked between the in-flight magazines and safety cards.
