Checked this place out last night.
They have a great selection of beers. It's an interesting multi-level place, and I'll definitely go again.
It didn't feel completely 'chill' though. It had a slight restaurantish feel to it -- because it was such a large space and because the lighting was a little bright.

Refaving this place. They have plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the Burke-Gilman trail and the canal. On top of that, they offer free wi-fi, serve lunch, and have power outlets outside.

Checked out the pageant at Gas Works Park this weekend as part of the Solstice Festival.
This person -- no idea who he/she is -- took some great pictures.

Fremont Fair is this weekend.
Quoted: Now in its 36th year, Fremont Fair returns to celebrate the Summer Solstice and the best of our community: art, spirit, sharing, celebration and working together to help each other. During Fair weekend, people from all walks of life come together to shop, eat, drink, perform, smile, dance, run, converse, debate, groove and parade.

Checked this out on Sunday. Pretty nice..free wi-fi, good view, and outdoor seating. Not sure if it would make the best place to work though.

Tried this place based on Nikki's recommendation. Great place on all counts -- good umbria coffee, tasty sandwiches, and comfortable/cozy work environment. The only downside is that it's a little small.
Downside: They close at 5:30 on Sundays and 6:00 on all other days.
Quoted: Geneve Cafe is regrettably no longer located in Geneva. It has been scaled down and relocated to the United States, now located at 4459 Fremont Ave N. Seattle, WA 98103 ph 206 5470570. Graciously serving Bünderfleisch Panini and fine Swiss Wine. Very small and cozy. Free WiFi is still available. Rumoured that they will still accept Swiss Francs. Swisscom is obviously no longer necessary.

Went here for dessert and coffee and was impresed by service, food, ambience. Would make a good date place. Can't say how main dishes are, though.

working here. the interior of the coffee shop is segmented into small rooms. can't say i'm a fan -- i prefer big open spaces with lots of people. however, i like that you can sit on the porch. if you want to try it out, it's right across from ballroom.

i recall: the food was not spicy at all, but i remember it being decent nonetheless. however, on citysearch, the reviewer said the food was too spicy.

Three stars for a restaurant that's basically a glorified pub is amazing! I've been here several times and have always had great experiences. The food isn't just "bar food" and they acutally have a decent wine list, too.
