Paes has reached both the men's doubles and mixed doubles finals at this year's US Open.

Federer is in a very tight fourth-round match at one set all. I feel like he would have rolled over this opponent a year ago.

Looks like Nadal will take over the #1 ranking from Federer on August 18th, and potentially sooner.
