I picked this (channa masala) up at the Madison Market yesterday. It is surprisingly good. It's healthy aside from the sodium content.
Quoted: I think this item is very good especially for a packaged product. I've not found anything that would rival the quality of taste, price, or convenience. The taste is full and spicy, tending to the medium hot side,

These are essentially aloo tikkis and taste exactly like the real thing.
Quoted: These burgers are awesome and are made with only veggies and no soy. The burgers are made from potatoes, carrots, green beans, corn, bell peppers and "indian" spices. These are best made on the stovetop or grilled (George Foreman). 1 burger= 120 calories, 8g fat, 360mg sodium, 12g carbs, 2g protein. Give these a try!

Don't be turned off by the name. This tastes quite authentic and makes a good side dish (or almost a full lunch), and it's cheap -- $1.99.
Quoted: Whole wheat, moong dal lentils, carrots, beans and onion cooked together with aromatic spices. Low in fat, high in fiber and it still packs an authentic and wholesome taste. Truly a dieters delight! Ready to eat in 2 minutes. Contains no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. This is a vegan entree. The premier online Indian store, iShopIndian, creates a shopping experience with gourmet Indian grocery, music, DVDs and health products delivered right to your door.

Surprisingly good and not too unhealthy...
Quoted: I was skeptical---the idea of a tuna "tasty bite" struck me as sort of oogie. But on the recommendation of a very picky friend, I gave it a go. Now I'm hooked. This sauce is seriously good, and the tuna is mild. It's especially good over rice noodlles and with green beans added.

Tasty and healthy. One box -- with two peppers -- is only $4.50
Quoted: One of my favorite lunches. It's two large red bell pepper halves stuffed with ground turkey and a mixture of white/wild rice. The turkey/rice is coated with a very thick tomato based sauce--nothing runny in this dish at all. Has no turkey taste at all---definitely a good "clone" of ground beef.

You must be Mohit's friend before you can comment on this Fave.I like taking those backpacking, along with tortillas or chapatis. The great thing is that the food is heated in foil, so you can still use the hot water for something else (tea or washing other dishes).
but the sodium content is incredibly high. I used to add yoghurt/milk to mellow it down a bit.
did you ever hear the radio commercial for tasty bite? it used to come on all the time on saturday mornings, and it was so ridiculous and funny i actually taped it!
I will check if other items have less sodium otherwise I will give this a try - the day I don't feel like cooking.
haha rachel, i was just about to comment on the tasty bite rap as well! "tasty bite tastes good to eat!" i'm not a big fan of their palak paneer, though...
this one (bengal lentils) is my favorite so far. i picked up punjabi eggplant and bombay potatoes today.
