One of the lesser known I-90 trails.
Quoted: Otter Falls is stunning. Truly breathtaking. A place which must be seen in person to be truly appreciated. Photos and flowery descriptions do very little for this place.

This has been my experience this season so far, as well.
Quoted: The volume of snow makes the descent to the lake extremely difficult and Seattlest wasn’t interested in becoming another Snow Lake fatality. Normally hikers drop several hundred feet down to the shores, but this summer that won’t be reasonably safe for at least another month

Quoted: . The most popular is West Tiger 3, which leads to the western summit. With an elevation gain of more than 2,000 feet in just 2.6 miles, it satisfies even serious hikers. It offers grand views of the Seattle and Puget Sound region, the adjacent Issaquah Alps, and even Mount Rainier.

Just ordered a pair.
Quoted: 1) Rear-Foot Control Point Only Superfeet synergizer insoles provides this feature to control over-pronation, thus helping keep your foot correctly aligned. The Result: Is less stress on muscles and joints. 2) Mid-Foot Control Point Another Superfeet Insole original. This area stabilizes the mid-foot. Combined with Rear-Foot Control Point, this enables you to use your skeletal strength to your advantage. Result: a very stable foot, creating less muscle fatigue and more endurance.

Quoted: All Superfeet products are primarily designed for feet that over-pronate. If you feel like the arch is too far back, the product is actually telling you that it's trying to support you rear foot (heel bone) so the foot doesn't have the ability to collapse.
From http://ask.metafilter.com/43186/Suggestions-for-overthecounter-orthotics
Quoted: I tend to also pronate when I walk. My orthopedist said "I can give you a prescription for an orthotic or you can get Superfeet." He had taken a close look at them and approved. Much cheaper than a prescription.

Looking for orthotics for my hiking boots. My sneakers (Pearl Izumi) already provide good support
Quoted: Fortunately, she made it out, and once back home Anne headed straight to her doctor, who told her, "Your knees hurt because your feet are flat." She knew she had flat feet because the genetically caused condition runs in her family, but she never suspected it could leave her crippled in the backcountry. Assuming corrective knee surgery or a brace was in order, Anne was surprised when the prescription called for custom orthotics for her hiking boots.
...
Pain can also figure into the picture because most flat feet over-pronate, or roll too much to the inside, a condition that affects about 80 percent of the bipedal population.ShareViewed: 10 Times

This turned out to be one of my favorite hikes, and luckily the weather was perfect. It's the same difficulty as Mt. Si but more scenic (in my opinion) and less crowded. There's a 360 degree lookout and a tower at the top.
Quoted: The hike to the peak of Granite Mountain is very popular. The trail is 4 miles in length with a total elevation gain of 3800 feet (0.72 miles). The first couple miles of the trail are through a forest with the rest of the trail open to views of the surrounding mountains. The trail is a constant uphill grade.

Doing this tomorrow morning. Weather looks like it should be okay. The stats look comparable to those of Mt. Si.
Quoted: Steep hike through forest and meadows to fire lookout with tremendous views.. Near North Bend, WA
...
The trail starts off in the forest and climbs quickly. Although it is steep, it's a consistent elevation gain and there are many switchbacks, so the grade is not too terrible. At about one mile, the trail splits.ShareViewed: 18 Times
