Sicko was eye opening, and I am happy I saw it. At the same time, I do appreciate that CNN is fact checking and then asking questions when they find something contradictory to what's presented in Sicko.
Quoted: "It's ironic that someone who has made a career out of holding powerful interests accountable is so sensitive to having his own work held up to the light by impartial journalists, as we did in our examination of 'SiCKO,' " the spokesperson said.

click to playNot endorsing the film..haven't even seen it yet. But, if you are interested in watching it, it's available online. Warning: the first few minutes (saw while I was creating this dot) are not for the squeamish.
Quoted: I cannot dispute that American health care is in lousy shape. I do, however, disagree with the film that universal healthcare is the solution.
UPDATE: Video has been taken down.

You must be Mohit's friend before you can comment on this Fave.Seems to be a tempest in a teapot .. taking potshots at one another over relatively insignificant difference in numbers cited. Moore may be making a little extra PR for his film by complaining loudly, but that's probably just PR.
I think the issue is that CNN doesn't fact very many of its content. Just look at the number of times that Tony Snow has completely contradicted himself (or Lied) at a press briefing, and CNN does not "fact check" those instances, they simply report them as-is. The same can be said for about any political claim from either side of the isle about the war, the economy or healthcare.
Why did they decide to start their fact checking with Moore's film?
Dr. Sanjay Gupta (CNN health correspondant) seems to have taken a keen interest in this movie (as he probably should). He, specifically, likes to add his own take on things.
