Simba's Chicken (Indian food) is open again?

I drove by it today and believe I saw and "open" sign. When the people who opened the restaurant turned it over to their relatives, the food went downhill a bit -- but it's still the best Indian in Pioneer Square.

Quoted: Simba's Chicken & Kabob Reviews - "Simba's is a great place for lunch. It is kind of like a mom and pop version of Cafe Zum Zum. I'm serious when I say mom and pop, because it seems to be run by a very nice couple. Also, the food is about a…

yah, best indian in pioneer square is not saying much:(

i'm still a fan of Cedars Restaurant on Brooklyn, in the UDistrict.

I still think Taste of India (owned by the same folks as cedars) is the best -- up on Roosevelt. (not counting places out in bellevue, kirkland, redmond etc). What I really want is a decent Indian place on capitol hill!

    Yelp.com | Artemis Cafe & Bar Seattle

Just grabbed a couple drinks here. Really liked the place. It's fancy without feeling pretentious and while maintaining a neighborhood feel (It's on Bellevue just a few blocks from my place). Will definitely go back for Happy Hour and dinner. Recommended. The guy was saying they buy the entire (organic) cow -- so their beef is the real deal.

Quoted: Artemis Cafe & Bar Reviews - "I'm thrilled to have this wonderful restaurant in my Capitol Hill neighborhood. I've heard nothing but great reviews about Artemis. BRAVO! I look forward to dining there with friends when I return home to Seattle from…

    Sushi Maki

Ordered from here last night and scanned the menu here:
    http://picasaweb.google.com/mohitsriv/Menus

The spicy tuna roll was great -- 8 large pieces, very spicy, and just $4.95. The sashimi was good, too. But, each piece was $2. They only take cash.

Quoted: Sushi Maki Reviews - "One heavy ass bag of sushi to go please. That will pretty much be your order at this teeny tiny sushi bar - they have about 50-60 different rolls for you to choose from all organized neatly by cooked, raw, and spicy. The…

the Cafe by Hillside Quickie - Seattle - Yelp

This place, like the last place I dotted, is on 15th Ave in Capitol Hill.

For a vegan place, this was really good. I had the Jamaican burger...it was filling, tasty, and (unfortunately) messy. Makes a good lunch place...although it's a little pricey ($8 for my burger I think).

Knocking it down to 3 stars only because I don't think it's too healthy.

Quoted: the Cafe by Hillside Quickie Reviews - "Wow this place is amazing. I just had the best mac and cheese in my life, and im not vegan or vegetarian. I like eating vegetarian and eating healthy and organic so I decided to pop in here to see what…

    poco wine room - home

Aside from them closing at 1:00, I really liked this place. Great atmosphere and friendly owners (although they gave a *littie* more attention to the ladies, but it's all good). Didn't have a chance to try the food tonight -- looking forward to that next time!

It's right up the street from Online Coffee...so it's a good way to end a work session.

Teahouse Kuan Yin - Seattle - Yelp

While the atmosphere was lacking...this ended up being a decent place to work. Kuan Yin is open late, has a great tea selection, has non-sugary food items (including samosas and soups), and reliable wi-fi. I'll work here again.

Quoted: Okay, so I admit, it's not the epitome of cute atmospheres or comfy chairs, but this place seriously rocks. For a coffee girl, the tea selection is slightly intimidating, but have no fear--they will ask you questions and find :your perfect tea" (and yes, it is almost always the perfect one). Free wifi (a must for the college crowd), and a no cell phone policy! YAY! Tea runs $4-5 for a whole pot.

Four Seasons Japanese Restaurant - Shoreline - Yelp

Went here last night. Not too bad, although the BBQ was a little heavy and didn't sit too well in my stomach. The appetizers were very good, however, and they kept refilling them. All in all, I think I like other Korean BBQ places a little better.

Quoted: Four Seasons Japanese Restaurant Reviews - "I was introduced to this place not too long ago. There were a group of 5 of us who were all craving something tasty. My friend said we had to try this Korean-Japanese place on Aurora. I was thinking,…

    Tom Douglas Restaurants : Lola

Went here for brunch today, and highly recommend it. I had the Tom's Big Breakfast which was pork + grilled octopus + some other stuff. Aside from being good, it was nice that it was different from the standard omelette and/or pancake fare you get everywhere else.

Quoted: Our weekend brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The stylish and modern dining space is decorated with warm earthy colors, hand-painted chandeliers, and floor-to-ceiling windows. The rough-hewn granite bar surrounding a huge wine cask features an inventive cocktail menu and a great wine list including some delicious, hard-to-find Greek wines.
