It was nice to see Federer playing his best tennis again.
Quoted: Roger Federer showed Andy Murray and the world that he’s far from done. On Monday night, in front a capacity crowd in Arthur Ashe Stadium, Federer dominated the 21-year-old Scot, dictating play from start to finish to win his fifth straight United States Open.

Federer is in a very tight fourth-round match at one set all. I feel like he would have rolled over this opponent a year ago.
Quoted: "I think Federer has been relying too much on his talent than hitting the gym in the last 18 months. Him not getting any stronger has taken its toll on his results recently."

Congrats to Justine for defeating the Williams sisters back to back -- a very difficult task indeed. I didn't watch the match, but it looks like Venus put up a good fight, especially in the first set.

Roddick was so close in the first two sets. But, serve aside, Federer demonstrated that he is still a better player than Roddick.
Quoted: Top-ranked Roger Federer and No. 5 Andy Roddick played a high-quality match last night that United States Open fans would kill to see in Sunday’s final. The problem for Roddick is Federer’s best is still better than his.

Federer demonstrated why he's the best. At the same time, he showed that he can be overpowered, at least until he figures out his opponent's game. I think the key is for Roddick to come out serving and swinging hard.
Quoted: Then 0-40 on the Federer serve; and AN ASTONISHING TWO SETS LATER before he lost another service point. That's right, NO MORE SERVICE POINTS DROPPED from the start of the 3rd to the last game of the 4th. Incredible.
