Quoted: India's Leander Paes completed a career mixed doubles Grand Slam on Thursday, joining Zimbabwe's Cara Black to beat Britain's Jamie Murray and American Liezel Huber 7-6 (8/6), 6-4 in the US Open final.

Paes has reached both the men's doubles and mixed doubles finals at this year's US Open.

Federer is in a very tight fourth-round match at one set all. I feel like he would have rolled over this opponent a year ago.

Congrats to Justine for defeating the Williams sisters back to back -- a very difficult task indeed. I didn't watch the match, but it looks like Venus put up a good fight, especially in the first set.

Roddick was so close in the first two sets. But, serve aside, Federer demonstrated that he is still a better player than Roddick.

Federer demonstrated why he's the best. At the same time, he showed that he can be overpowered, at least until he figures out his opponent's game. I think the key is for Roddick to come out serving and swinging hard.
