Nathan, founder of http://npost.com, blogged about our coffee meeting. Our "change" in strategy is a little overstated. Referring to it as an "extension" of strategy might have been better, but it's a great post nonetheless!
Quoted: They decided to changes their names to faves.com, which makes a lot of sense. It meshes well with your overall services, is five characters, and has a coveted .com. It will be interesting to see how this rebranding does for the company.

Don, our initial investor, was instrumental in helping us get Blue Dot off the ground and in realizing our vision. Through the ups and downs, he was a mentor and inspiration to me.
My wishes to Heather and the family for their strength and comfort through this tough time.
Quoted: Don has crossed over into heaven. He died peacefully at 12:48pm. Please continue to pray for Heather and the boys.

We got a nice mashable mention!
Quoted: And while Faves already had a good amount of personalization options, crating more in terms of its content management takes a cue from popular start pages, and is a similar tactic to one that StumbleUpon has recently implemented with its own site. So while the changes may not make it a big contender just yet, it does make the playing field that much more even.

Demo Girl's done a great job of explaining our offering. She's even created a screencast! I wonder if we can use it on our site.
Quoted: BlueDot just relaunched as Faves, and I think they did a great job. It was July 2006 when I created a screencast for BlueDot and a few weeks later they invited me to their launch party. Wasn’t that sweet? When I saw they had relaunched as Faves, I quickly went back to my screencast of BlueDot to see the differences.

A fan of our service is trying to get others to use Blue Dot on this thread.
Quoted: They have a Firefox extension that will let you bookmark pages without ever leaving the page.

Short summary of the Faves.com case study I presented at SMX.

They also had a branding problem Was called bluedot.us in which users were confused over the .us name. Faves.com is more in line with what they actually offer. - mohit - May 29 20081 FaverViewed: 11 Times
