Vivace opened on schedule yesterday. It sounds like they did a good job of recreating the original atmosphere. But, I will miss the view of Cal Andersen Park which has presumably been replaced with views of condos.
Quoted: Hey, it's opening day for Vivace in its new digs at Brix, down at the north end of Broadway. We're sipping on a brand-new americano right now.

Just saw this. Was definitely entertaining as long as you're not a snobbish critic. It's essentially a Broadway musical on the big screen. Accordingly, it did get the audience engaged more than most movies. Having said that, I wouldn't say it's a "must see". Good cast: Matthew Broderick, Uma Thurman!, Will Ferrell.
Quoted: Bringing the Tony-Award Winning musical back to the big screen -The Producers tells the story of a down on his luck producer (Lane) and his accountant (Broderick) and their get rich quick plan.

I can't imagine the stress placed on Officer Benjamin Kelly in making the identification and decision to shoot Clemmons in just a matter of seconds.
