Thomas Street Bistro - Capitol Hill - Seattle, WA

Going to try to grab brunch here tomorrow. It's just a block from my place.

Quoted: If you live in capitol hill and you love REAL food you have to try thomas street bistro! Its just a matter of time before this place will have a line waiting outside. This place is so small and the food is cooked on the spot. I went there with two…

The Dish - Ballard - Seattle, WA 98107

Definitely one of the better brunch places in Seattle. Everything I had -- cinnamon scone, the 'my favorite' scramble, and potatoes were exceptional. And, you get free coffee while you're waiting.

Quoted: This place has a wonderfully comfortable feeling. Our waitress was super nice and friendly. The dish we ate that stood out was the 'my favorite' scrambled. It will get me back to this place the next time I am in Seattle. The potatoes were also excellent. The scone and the pancakes were good but just not exactly how I would like them. My husband loved the pancakes.

Nice breakfast place in Vancouver. Nostalgic decor.

Quoted: Every inch of canary yellow wall space in this cafe is covered with vintage toys, souvenirs, photos and mementos

    Blue Star Cafe & Pub

    A brunch place I haven't tried yet...

Quoted: The Blue Star Cafe & Pub is located in the Wallingford/Greenlake area of Seattle, just north of Gas Works Park.

    Voula's Offshore Cafe

went here today based on ljc's recommendation (http://bluedot.us/users/ljc?show=64605846545)

the atmosphere was "new jersey diner". that's good or bad depending on what you're looking for.

the pancakes were very good, and they were generous with the fresh blueberries. the egg dish i had was scrambled with sausage and hash browns -- pretty good, but there was way too much cheese on top.

a notch below my favorite seattle brunch places, but still recommended as long as you set your expectations right.

    Tom Douglas Restaurants : Lola

Went here for brunch today, and highly recommend it. I had the Tom's Big Breakfast which was pork + grilled octopus + some other stuff. Aside from being good, it was nice that it was different from the standard omelette and/or pancake fare you get everywhere else.

Quoted: Our weekend brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The stylish and modern dining space is decorated with warm earthy colors, hand-painted chandeliers, and floor-to-ceiling windows. The rough-hewn granite bar surrounding a huge wine cask features an inventive cocktail menu and a great wine list including some delicious, hard-to-find Greek wines.

    CJ's Eatery on 43 Places

Went here for Saturday brunch. Great place on all counts (food, service, atmosphere). I had the filet mignon tips from the specials menu. Also, they took a little long to get our food ready -- so the waitress took 1/3 off our bill despite our insistence that it was not necessary.

Quoted: CJ's is a great neighborhood breakfast spot, with great breakfast food and exceptionally friendly service. They offer weekly breakfast specials, that are very interesting, as well as their standard menu of regular breakfast fare. I'm a big fan of the Eggs Benedict and fresh squeezed OJ! Lunch is ok, but nothing fantastic, this is definitely better for breakfast than lunch.

Bijou Cafe - Portland, OR, 97204-2705 - Citysearch

My second favorite breakfast place in Portland. I still think Mother's Cafe is the best. Anyways...I had an omelette, and the below review is right on. Also, the service was great.

Quoted: Their omelettes, in particular, are the best in town - most places focus on impressing you with the size of the omelette, leaving the fillings and preparation to be compromised. The Bijou's are just how real French omelettes should be: perfectly tender and appropriately-sized for any person with a normal-to-above-normal appetite.

Looks like a decent place. Got the recommendation from n.

Quoted: With its jolly colors, beaded curtains, and sad clown paintings in the hallway, Persimmon's look is retro-cute, but not overstuffed. The same goes for the ...
