Quoted: If you’re reading at home and thinking “well that’s all well and good, but I haven’t had a whole egg in years,” consider this: The researchers note that between the groups, there was no discernible difference between total cholesterol, high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL) and triglyceride levels. In addition, a registered dietitian and chef drafted to comment on the study noted that “nearly half an egg’s protein, and many of the other nutrients, are found in the yolk, so make sure to eat the whole egg for maximum benefits.” And this speaks nothing of all that golden fat goodness in the yolk.

went here today based on ljc's recommendation (http://bluedot.us/users/ljc?show=64605846545)
the atmosphere was "new jersey diner". that's good or bad depending on what you're looking for.
the pancakes were very good, and they were generous with the fresh blueberries. the egg dish i had was scrambled with sausage and hash browns -- pretty good, but there was way too much cheese on top.
a notch below my favorite seattle brunch places, but still recommended as long as you set your expectations right.

I tried the store brand egg beaters-like product a few years ago, and it was nasty. I finally tried the real egg beaters, and it tastes pretty good -- definitely satisfies my craving for eggs without all the cholesterol.
Quoted: Egg Beaters is made from real eggs, but only the best part — the whites. We add back the vitamins and other nutrients usually lost when the yolk is removed. And since there are no yolks, Egg Beaters has less than half the calories of a whole egg, but still has all of the protein and great taste. Plus, it's pasteurized for your safety and convenience.
