I agree that the look of the interface is sort of a letdown.
Quoted: It feels smooth and fast, although the interface looks a bit dated and mixed. It kind of reminds me to a 1990s Windows desktop manager, specially next to the glossy, ultra-polished iPhone interface. However, there are certain aspects of it which are droolworthy, like the accelerometer-based Google Maps Streetview.

Quoted: My phone does the same thing, but, as the previous poster mentions, that plugging the usb connection to your pc resolves the issue

Anyone have experience with this phone?
Can't say I like the pseudo Qwerty keypad: http://laptopmag.com/News/Cell-Phones/T-Mobile-Shadow-First-Impressions.htm?page=2&image=1

I think this could be my next phone. The current model is a little slow. Hopefully, the 400MHz processor will solve that.
Quoted: If these spy shots of the purported S730 are to be believed, then HTC looks to be drumming up a successor to their S710 Vox. Besides sporting an improved 400MHz Qualcomm processor and 3G radio, we're told that it features a like, totally, "way better keyboard," Bluetooth, and the "excellent build quality" we expect from an HTC device.

the t-mobile dash (htc s620) and the htc s710 are pretty similar. the main difference is one of personal preference -- form factor. however, the htc s710 does have a better battery and better camera.

This will be my next phone.
Quoted: Brilliant, as the British say: take the side-sliding QWERTY keyboard design from popular HTC-made Pocket PC phones such as the Cingular 8525, T-Mobile MDA and Verizon XV6700 and use it on an MS Smartphone. When we first saw the HTC Vox (that's developer's code name for the HTC S710 and carrier branded versions such as the Orange SPV E650) in prototype at the beginning of January, we wondered why we, HTC or anyone else hadn't thought of this before?

I know some of you have been having problems with your mda's. Maybe this will help?
Quoted: T-Mobile just released their 2.26 update for the MDA on their official site. If you go to your my.t-mobile.com account, log in, click "support for MDA", then click on "System Upgrade", you'll be taken to the download site for their new upgrade.
