Going to try this out for lunch. Didn't even know there was a South Indian restaurant in Seattle.
Quoted: If Tom hadn't for sent me an email, I'd have never set foot in Chili's. But he knew that. "Never in a million years would you walk into this place," he wrote, describing a shop that "looks like a sketchy package-store on the Ave." One open every day but Sunday from 9 a.m. till 11 p.m., selling "tube socks, Kool cigarettes and bad wine." He failed to mention the incense, candy and phone cards, or the gyros, tacos and French fries. Because that's not why you should go to Chili's. This is why:

I drove by it today and believe I saw and "open" sign. When the people who opened the restaurant turned it over to their relatives, the food went downhill a bit -- but it's still the best Indian in Pioneer Square.
Quoted: Simba's Chicken & Kabob Reviews - "Simba's is a great place for lunch. It is kind of like a mom and pop version of Cafe Zum Zum. I'm serious when I say mom and pop, because it seems to be run by a very nice couple. Also, the food is about a…

I picked this (channa masala) up at the Madison Market yesterday. It is surprisingly good. It's healthy aside from the sodium content.
Quoted: I think this item is very good especially for a packaged product. I've not found anything that would rival the quality of taste, price, or convenience. The taste is full and spicy, tending to the medium hot side,

Found in Buzz. Going to give this a try.
Quoted: Spinach and Chickpea Curry Recipe | Recipezaar - A very easy curry which doesn't take a lot of effort to prepare. It is low GI so will leave you feeling fuller for longer. It is quite a dry curry when made, I like to serve it over brown rice and then the next day eat the remainder cold wrapped in a chapatti with some sour cream. Went here for lunch today and was very impressed. Nice to have good Indian in the neighborhood. Instead of buffet, for $5.99 you can pick three items of your choice. I like this system. You save a little money over a buffet and you don't overeat!
Quoted: Simba's menu has herb-marinated chicken, seekh kabobs, sandwiches, and traditional Indian dishes like lamb vindaloo and spaghetti with grilled chicken. Is it good?

Just saw this Bollywood movie yesterday, and it was fantastic! Loved the writing, the acting, and the fact that the music was just sort of incorporated into the story ... no busting out into song :)
