Quoted: I started eating here recently for lunch. They have a mix of different Asian foods - Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese food on their menu. I've been here three times recently and it's been consistently good. I've intentionally ordered a different dish each time (i guess being a yelper has changed me a little bit).

There definitely are a number of young companies in Pioneer Square.
Quoted: Since we moved in to Pioneer Square from the wilds of Kirkland last week, it really feels like we are right smack in the middle of a dynamic innovation hub – and that’s inspiring. Here are just a few of our interesting new neighbors:

Went here for lunch today and was very impressed. Nice to have good Indian in the neighborhood. Instead of buffet, for $5.99 you can pick three items of your choice. I like this system. You save a little money over a buffet and you don't overeat!
Quoted: Simba's menu has herb-marinated chicken, seekh kabobs, sandwiches, and traditional Indian dishes like lamb vindaloo and spaghetti with grilled chicken. Is it good?

Tried out a new restaurant called Falafel House on 3rd and Main. It's in that standalone building that used to have a teriyaki restaurant.
The owner and employees were *extremely* friendly. Food was good -- the chicken shawarma I had was definitely superior to the one at Mediterranean Mix (aka Med Mix). However, the portion was slightly smaller.
I will be going here frequently for lunch.

Went here last night for a beer and a burger. The waitress claimed the burger was the best in Seattle. I'm not a burger person, so I can't quite corroborate that -- but, it was very good.
Quoted: After twenty years in the food business, Seth Howard fulfilled a dream and opened the Collins Pub on the edge of Pioneer Square.
