This turned out to be one of my favorite hikes, and luckily the weather was perfect. It's the same difficulty as Mt. Si but more scenic (in my opinion) and less crowded. There's a 360 degree lookout and a tower at the top.
Quoted: The hike to the peak of Granite Mountain is very popular. The trail is 4 miles in length with a total elevation gain of 3800 feet (0.72 miles). The first couple miles of the trail are through a forest with the rest of the trail open to views of the surrounding mountains. The trail is a constant uphill grade.

Doing this tomorrow morning. Weather looks like it should be okay. The stats look comparable to those of Mt. Si.
Quoted: Steep hike through forest and meadows to fire lookout with tremendous views.. Near North Bend, WA
...
The trail starts off in the forest and climbs quickly. Although it is steep, it's a consistent elevation gain and there are many switchbacks, so the grade is not too terrible. At about one mile, the trail splits.

Heard about this on the t.v. ad for 7 cedars casino.
Quoted: Sequim averages 15" per year due to the precipitation pattern caused by the storm blocking effect of the Olympic Mountains. Thus, this is how the term "Blue Hole" came about.
.
Sequim rainfall is about the same as Los Angeles or San Francisco California.

Quoted: Now, rather than keep her clients secret, she has decided to unmask them — in the name of her legal defence. And she has elicited the help of America's ABC News to do it, turning over 21 kilograms of phone records, with "thousands and thousands" of clients that, she promises, reach "high into the echelons of power in the United States".
