Amazonians--for those of you who remember Bosco, this is a guitar ensemble that he's a part of and they're starting up their new season of performances. I've never been but it sounds really interesting and worth a visit at least once.
Quoted: Tuning the Air is a unique performance project of the Seattle Guitar Circle. Rather than touring in pursuit of an audience, the Seattle Guitar Circle is bringing the concept of the location based performance team to Seattle. 2005 was our first year of Tuning the Air and the response was very enthusiastic. Our 2006 season begins on Monday, March 6 and we expect the word about what we’re doing to spread quickly.
Our weekly performances of an ever-changing presentation revolve around a 10-member guitar ensemble and can include dance, voice and the occasional special guest.

Amazon's stock plunged from the $40s to below $10 over the next 18 months. Today, another recession looms, but Amazon is profitable, and the $1.25 billion convertible-bond issue is no longer: Amazon paid it off in September, nearly five months before a February 2009 deadline.
