Funny---this guy decides to go on a Googlefast for 1 week: no gmail, no Google searches, no Google maps, etc. (aside from the Google Ads that he runs on his site). It's not out of hate for Google--in fact, he loves Google. He's just doing it to see if he can survive without Google and its services. Yay! A bit of Kansas pride just had to dot this (Thanks Matt H. for the link!). Not only does Google Earth zero in on Lawrence, but it zeros in right to the neighborhood I grew up in a spot that's less than a mile from my house!
