I can't say I've actually had coffee from a French press, but something about them just seems alluring. I think it's the fact that you see everything happening right there in the carafe.
So, this is the one I'd get .

However silly this may seem, I still maintain it'd be a cool device to have in the kitchen; if nothing else, it'd be a great conversation piece.
I saw this on Fresh Arrival early on in my reading of that blog.

This seems like a really cool book. The author started collecting a wide variety of everyday objects from the early 80s that were all highly designed, and now, I guess she's gone and put them all in this book.
I'd say it'd make a good coffee table book if nothing else.

A very interesting pan design; this way, every thing that comes out (probably mostly brownies right?) has at least two edges. If you like you're edges, this is your pan.

Supposedly, this is a really good Thermos. I don't use them hardly ever, but I think if I had one, I would.
