I suppose I can credit Alton Brown with making me want to do more with cast iron. I mean, what's not to like about them? They're black, heavy, a big chunk of metal, and last forever.

This seems like it takes a bit of legwork to make, but that picture also looks amazing.

Maybe this could be something to make on the weekend.

This seems like a really cool book. The author started collecting a wide variety of everyday objects from the early 80s that were all highly designed, and now, I guess she's gone and put them all in this book.

I'd say it'd make a good coffee table book if nothing else.

A very interesting pan design; this way, every thing that comes out (probably mostly brownies right?) has at least two edges. If you like you're edges, this is your pan.

This looks really tasty. I'm not a huge baker, but I'd definitely like to start trying out some recipes, and this is one of those that certainly *seems* easy; whether or not that's the case, is beyond me.

Yes, it really is a ridiculously thorough guide to making your own pizza, but it never hurts to have a detailed guide on doing something as important as making your own pizza.
