This actually sounds like a really fun wine tasting and auction. The Pants Family household is TOTALLY GOING, whether we like it or not. Prizes, y'all.
Quoted: It’s been a hot and sticky week for Seattleites -- what with our totally green boycott of air conditioners and selfless positioning of fans towards our pets. Still, we’re soldiering on. Why? Cat's Amore!

Have to try this.
Quoted: Corvidae Wine Company's Rook blended red wine is a crowd-pleaser. It's a blend of Cabernet, Merlot, and Syrah from three distinctly different vineyards - Ironbird Vineyard, in Southern Oregon's Applegate Valley, Erickson Vineyard, in Washington's Yakima Valley, and St. Isidore Vineyard, in the high priced and trendy Walla Walla appellation.

Don't care. Red wine is part of what makes life worthwhile.
Quoted: Attention red-wine drinkers: Drinking moderate amounts of any kind of alcohol—including wine, beer or liquor—is associated with an slightly increased breast cancer risk, and the rosy-hued beverage is no exception. That’s the conclusion of a new study that dashes any hope that red wine is less likely than other alcohol-containing drinks to increase breast cancer risk, or might even protect against the disease.

Quoted: What cheese loves your libation? What libation loves your cheese? These are the age-old questions haunting humankind since the dawn of eating and drinking. Questions that can finally be answered with the quidance of Cheese Cupid. No longer will you question if merlot plays nice with cheddar. Or if cabernet has romantic inclinations toward asiago. Yes, love is in the air. Can you feel it? Or shall we say, taste it?

These could really come in handy since every single time we fly we're smuggling home wine or liqour. I'm tired of wrapping bottles in clothes, newspaper, bubble wrap--super McGyver style--to get it home. Hooray for entrepreneurial winos!
Quoted: TSA-friendly wine tote lets you safely transport wine in checked luggage. The perfect wine carrier for travel and picnics. Ideal for executive gifts, wine clubs.

This sounds fun. I love rosé and Campagne has amazing food. Also, I can't think of a better way to spend flag day than drinking French wines. =D
Quoted: Join us on Saturday, June 14, 2008 from 2 - 5 PM in Campagne’s courtyard* for our annual hommage to pink wine. The cost to attend is $15 per person which may be paid at the door. Admission includes your first glass of rosé and passed hors d’oeuvre à la Niçoise (small bites prepared in the style of Nice) by Chef Daisley Gordon. Directeur du vin Cyril Fréchier has compiled a lovely list of rosé wines which will be available for purchase by the taste, glass and bottle.
