Well, good news! Vessel is not closing.
Quoted: Niemeyer has plans in place to make Vessel thrive. He has applied to add outdoor seating, will expand the offerings of champagne by the glass, and promote the space as a stylish, sophisticated locale for private parties and meetings. “Vessel is better than ever. These changes are nothing but positive.”

I'm taking some out of town friends on this tour Saturday. I think it's interesting without being super touristy. Anyone have some other good ideas for Seattley fun for peeps who have never been to Seattle? What's a good seafood restaurant with a view that's not crazy-expensive? Can you tell I haven't lived here very long?

No mention of how contractors get the boot on this service. We must account for at least 30% of the work force at MS, we're also the ones who actually need a free ride to work! I see the giant-ass connector every day as I go to my hour-long Metro route. Metro busses are free to orange badges, but they are so, so slow. One of these days I may get my Rosa Parks on and see what happens!
Quoted: Fed up with commuter delays and an inadequate public transportation system, Microsoft will start its own regional bus system. It's also a way to attract the brightest employees, the company says.

1 FaverViewed: 70 TimesQuoted: Build Your Own Tiki Bar from these easy to follow plans. I discovered there is a severe lack of quality pre-made tiki bars you can buy. The ones I did find were poorly made and some were just plain ugly not to mention some of them cost over 5,000 dollars. I decide I would have to build my own if I wanted something I actually liked. Plus I am on a budget. Next, my search for a good set of plans....
