Perhaps you live in a place such as the U.K. or Canada where either there are long queues for medical procedures or care.
#break#
Perhaps as in the case in Canada that not only are there long queue lines for medical care but Socialist thinking makes it impossible and indeed immoral for any one to jump the queue

Perhaps as in the case in Canada that not only are there long queue lines for medical care but Socialist thinking makes it impossible and indeed immoral for any one to jump the queue
#break#
According the standard socialist trend thinking in Canada, if a person mortgages their home in order to obtain a life saving kidney transplant overseas, then they are considered to be an evil person who has jumped the queue..
#break#
Indeed as noted medical economist M. L. Labovitch notes that in the North End Socialist mindset , that had this person completed the real estate transaction to travel and party or to buy government sponsored lottery tickets then they would be commended and all would be fine and dandy.
#break#
Finally it may be that it may be that you just cannot afford the cost of medical treatment of medical procedure in your geographic and home area.
#break#
There is nothing new under the sun in the concept of medical tourism. Indeed the first recorded examples of medical tourism date back thousands of yeas when Greek pilgrims traveled from all the Mediterranean to the small territory in the Sardonic Gulf called Epidauria.
#break#
Epidauria was the sanctuary of the healing god Asklepios. Epidauria was the first original travel destination for what has become to be known as Medical Tourism.

In one case customers were scared away, and frightened of a product.
#break#
In another case customers and potential customers came to be reassured by the image of a company, and its concern for their health and safety.#break#
That product became the standard of pain and headache relief.
Contrast two examples. Perrier water used to be the standard of luxury water products. Perrier was the market leader of imported water products, for thirst, into the United States.
#break#
Perrier water commanded a premium lead in the marketplace especially in luxury beverage establishments such as lounges and bars.
Have you ever heard of the Perrier Water product in 2007 or 2008 ?#break#
It was commonplace and indeed a status symbol, that for the same price as an alcoholic beverage, to order a Perrier with a Twist. Profit margins were exceptional both for Perrier and the retail and restaurant trade.
#break#
Along came a twist of fate and marketing. Benzene, a known carcinogen in rats, was found in bottle Perrier water.
#break#
The company first stated one story that the incident was isolated and of no concern. It was an isolated incident based on one employee cleaning a piece of bottling equipment with that very benzene that was the cause the company reported , Be reassured Perrier .. Blah, blah of no concern
#break#
Be reassured that Perrier water does not contain Benzene and is safe Yet when this same substance Benzene was found in additional lots of Perrier water in widely varying geographic areas the company changed its story to another fish story so to speak.
#break#
As time progressed the company revamped the story even further to state that actually Benzene was added to Perrier water in the Carbon Dioxide used to make Perrier water fizz. This Benzene was naturally removed in the manufacturing process and was of little concern.
#break#
By doing so the company admitted that their hallmark fame of Naturally bottled water was untrue and adulterated and diminished their very basis of their marketing strategy and established market and market base.
#break#
If you think about it in the year of 2007 how may times have you have frequently heard the word Perrier

Sweet...I just got one made...not that I have sleep apnea...but it might come in handy
Researchers say there are many types of oral appliances that may be used to treat sleep apnea, snoring, or both. When worn during sleep, they help to maintain an open airway by repositioning or stabilizing the lower jaw, tongue, soft palate, or uvula (the fingerlike piece of tissue that hangs down from the soft palate at the back of the mouth).
The most common symptoms of sleep apnea are excessive snoring and daytime sleepiness. It is diagnosed with special tests while you sleep, usually in a sleep lab.
