Last fall, I received my insurance renewal paperwork to insure my older vehicle. The insurance rate MPIC (Autopac) charged me was based on their established value of $6000. This spring, I was involved in an accident, and Autopac initially decided to write-off this auto. They valued it at $1200 for write-off purposes, which was the amount they were going to settle for.
