Cartoon character from adult swim mistaken for bombs...but only in Boston, not in any of the other major cities the ads were placed. This reminds me of the woman who thought a billboard for the "The Omen" that said "6/6/6" (the date the movie came out) was a terrorist threat.
Quoted: Several illuminated electronic devices planted at bridges and other spots in Boston threw a scare into the city Wednesday in what turned out to be a publicity campaign for a late-night cable cartoon. Most of the devices depict a character giving the finger.

Palin was apparently a nightmare for her campaign staff to deal with. She refused preparation help for her interview with Katie Couric and then blamed her staff, specifically Nicole Wallace, when the interview was panned as a disaster. After the Couric interview, Fox News reported, Palin turned nasty with her staff and began to accuse them of mishandling her. Palin would view press clippings of herself in the morning and throw "tantrums" over the negative coverage.
