池田信夫さんがコラム「サイバーリバタリアン」の中で、「B-CASの廃止が事実上決まった」と書いて話題となっている。情報通信審議会で9月26日に開かれた「デジタル・コンテンツの流通の促進等に関する検討委員会 第44回」で、B-CASの見直しを進めていくとの方針が出たことを受けてたものだ。池田さんは続けて、「（B-CAS批判の）Webの世論が総務省の『業者行政』を押し切った」と、ネットでの言論が後押しになったと説明。これに対して、茂木和洋さんは自身のサイト「全ては道楽」で、「問題の委員会を傍聴している立場としては、そんな流れはこれっぽっちも伺えませんでした」とコメント。「B-CASカードを (ICカード形式をやめて) 受信機へ組み込み」「遊離カードの問題も解消ですねという形でお茶を濁そうとしている可能性が高い」と指摘した。すると池田さんは自身のブログの7日付エントリーのコメント欄で、「総務省も『2011年問題』対策としてつぶそうとしており、公取委も出てきたので」と新たな情報を加えた上で、「B-CASの見直し」が「B-CAS廃止」であることを改めて主張した。さて、どうなる？ - masuda - Oct 22 20084 FaversViewed: 12 Times
