    Quote:
She can be programmed for a variety of complications and for cervix dilation. She can labor for hours and produce a breach baby or unexpectedly give birth in a matter of minutes.

Surgeons Remove Two Fetuses From Infant - Yahoo! News

Wow.... this is nutz...we have been learning about fetal malformations in our embryology course...approximately 80% of all spontaneous abortions are due to malformations during fetal development. It is so surprising that this baby survived with two growing fetuses inside of it!!!...Statistics show that this anomaly is very rarely seen… most likely because these pregnancies are usually naturally aborted… Very interesting.... thanks for dotting this katie.

BBC NEWS | South Asia | India sex selection doctor jailed

This is a huge problem in India and elsewhere, there are a bunch of movies that document killing girl babies after birth as well...usually by drowning them in a tub of milk...that image will stay with me forever...

This article concentrates on abortion of a female fetus by a medical professional. I never knew that in India learning the gender of a fetus was unlawful, because once it was determined that a female had been conceived the fetus would be aborted. The societal preference of male children has resulted in a skewed population in which there is a greater male to female ratio. I was glad to see that the government is going to work to punish those doctors that aid in female fetal killing.
