Didn't realize Marvel was going back to the Punisher well for round 2. Lexi Alexander is directing, and here are some of her latest casting for the movie.
Checked out the IMDB page for Punisher War Zone, and we're going to see a new Frank Castle!!! Ray Stevenson will be the new Punisher...interesting...

Mr. Hockey is gettin his own movie. About time!
Quoted: The film will focus on the 1973-74 WHA season, when, at 44, Howe returned to pro hockey after two years in retirement and played on the same team as his sons, Mark and Marty. The elder Howe led the Houston Aeros to the championship and was named league MVP.

Good to hear that Ms. Johansson "is not promiscuous". Though her next comment is questionable.
Quoted: "I do think on some basic level we are animals, and by instinct we kind of breed accordingly," she says. "But as much as I believe that, I work really hard when I'm in a relationship to make it work in a monogamous way."
So she'll 'work really hard' to be monogamous, but that's not in our nature? Sounds like an excuse!
This ain't my norm for dotting, but what can I say it's Scarlett!! ;-)

This is a very interesting development in the next gen movie format war. Pretty sweet if you could buy one disc and get both the Blu-Ray and HD-DVD versions of a movie.
Quoted: Console makers and movie studios both have a lot riding on the success of the competing DVD formats, but a new patent recently filed by Warner Bros. engineers may help calm the battle. The patent details the creation of a disc that holds HD-DVD, Blu-ray and standard DVD data on the same disc by using three different layers of information.
Kewl story, but I have to say "competing DVD formats" is a really bad way of describing the new format war. DVD's are the old format, and calling the next gen format war a "DVD format" war seem to imply this blogger's hat is in the HD-DVD ring...

Watched this over the weekend on the recommendation of a couple of friends, and I was not disappointed. This movie is excellent, and if you haven't seen it....rent it, buy it, whatever just watch it! :-)
I have to admit that before this year’s world cup I was fairly oblivious to the world of football (soccer). After really paying attention to the World Cup this year though, I'm hooked. Matt, you were totally right...just took me time.
The reason I bring this little antidote up is that Green Street Hooligans introduces yet another aspect of the world of football. I have no clue if these 'firms' are real, but some how I don't doubt that they are to some degree. It adds quite an interesting dimension to the game, and the story that GSH tells makes them all the more interesting. This movie is great, just watch it.
Imagine if Yankee and Red Sox fans were like this? The New Yorkers would totally kick those Mass-hole's butts...just like on the field! :-)
Quoted: Amazon.com: Green Street Hooligans - DVD - Unjustly expelled from Harvard when a stash of cocaine is found in his possession, Matt (Elijah Wood) moves to London to live with his sister and her husband Steve (Marc Warren.) He is quickly introduced to Steve's chirpy, cock-sure younger brother Pete (Charlie Hunnam.) Initially, Pete is reluctant to get acquainted with Matt and allow him to tread around the capital city with him because he may be seen by others as an 'outsider', but after a heavy drinking session with him and his mates he quickly changes his opinion of him. On the way back from a football match, Matt is viciously accosted by a gang of Birmingham City thugs, until Pete and his friends step in and save him. It is from here that Matt learns the truth about Pete and his friends- they are football hooligans, operating the GSE (Green Street Elite) 'firm.' Initially afraid of the violence, Matt soon ends up becoming as desensitized to it as his new found friends- but as events roll on, suspicion, shocking revelations and unsettled scores combine to a devastating climax where London's most fierce football rivals- Millwall and West Ham United- are set to go head to head.

Very, very interesting. Not only DVD's, but HD content on demand. If I get this service I'll let ya'll know how it is. For $99.99 it's VERY tempting...
Quoted: Why go out to rent DVD's when you can watch new movies at home using MovieBeam's new video on demand digital movie player. Rent new movie releases and watch them at home from as little as $1.99 per movie.
