    Exclusive Interview: Alan Tudyk!

Spoiler warning!!! If you don't want to know anything about Death at a Funeral or 3:10 to Yuma, be warned!!! If you've seen both movies or don't care check out this interview with Wash!

Quoted: Here, and he pulled out like a Wonder Bread bag and like the last quarter of it was stuffed with mushrooms, and he pulled out a fistful and put them in my hand. What do I do with these, what part do I eat? And he said, eat them all, eat them right now in front of me. So I ate all of these mushrooms, and it was… it was a bit scary in the beginning just getting into it, I felt like God was scratching his finger nails on a chalkboard, it scared me. But when that stopped, which only lasted a couple of minutes, it was if like Tinkerbell went [piff] and blew some fairy dust in my face and the world became this wonderful place and I had theories about everything. And I didn't move from the party. When I was feeling bad, I sat down next to a pickup truck that was parked out by the lake and I didn't move from that spot all night. And people just came to visit me, and I told them my theory about, I had a pinecone theory of life about how we are all pinecones.

I want to know what his "pinecone theory of life" is...sounds interesting...

Built For The Future ›› CantStopTheSerenity.com | The Global Charity Event

This is an amazing event held 'round the world. I did my part and went to the Seattle Screening, and it was shiny seeing Serenity on the big screen again!!!

Quoted: Our goal was to raise over $100,000 globally for Equality Now. Not only did we shatter that mark, by raising $112,677.05 for the international women's rights advocacy group, but organizers in various cities used the event to raise additional funds for other worthwhile charities.

Can't Stop the Serenity isn't done yet though...

Quoted: Joss began Buffy: Season 8 (if I can be forgiven for switching from one part of the Whedonverse to another) with these words: "The thing about changing the world... once you do it, the world's all different." In the end, the goal of Equality Now's work is just that: Changing the world.

Quoted: This year's CSTS take of more than $112,000 is more than drop in the bucket for an organization like Equality Now. But the world isn't changed just yet. Equality Now is in it for the long haul. And so CSTS must keep going, on towards 2008 -- because there isn't anything else but to keep going.

So do your part, and come check out Can't Stop the Serenity when it returns in 2008!!!

    (SPOILER) Halo 3: First Cutscene

If you want to wait till Tuesday to see this, well don't click the link.

It's great to hear Wash's (Alan Tudyk) voice in this cut scene!!! Captain Mal (Nathan Fillion) has been heard in other clips. When you play the game, keep an ear peal for my voice!!! :-)

I'm actually in something with 2 of the Big Damn Heroes!!! SWEET!!!

Some hard science for the 'Verse.

Quoted: For example, the terraformed moons & planets of the ‘Verse are said to have had their atmospheres and gravity fixed by the terraforming process. Atmosphere is OK (in decades, mind), but gravity?

    Quoted: Ans: Shrink the planet.

    Sweet...shrinking planets!!!

TV Summer School: How to Have an Overall Deal

The other half of the Firefly Brain Trust, and the man who brought us Wonderfalls, the Inside, and Drive. All like Firefly killed before their time...

Quoted: Q: Are you looking to develop your own shows, or have you enjoyed taking ideas like Drive or The Inside that 20th already owns and building them out?
A: No, I want to develop my own stuff—and in fact, I have developed something, and I am pitching it now, and there is interest at a bunch of places.

How the heck does Captain Kirk rank above Captain Tightpants. There's no justice on the internet...

Quoted: Aside from the political and moral stuff, Captain Reynolds completely kicks ass. His pistol is amazing, he wears a really cool coat (we want one!) and he always gets the best lines (Jayne excepted). What we really love about him is that you can only push him so far, before you can push him no further. Denying him the number one position was a real task.

Interesting list. Not sure if I totally agree. I mean the Bene Gesserit only rank #20? I mean we wouldn't have Jedi if it weren't for the Bene Gesserit. Willow is only #16? As they say her story arc was a bit too much Dark Phoenix, but it still rocked and Willow was the best character on Buffy. Which leads to Buffy, only #7? How the hell does Hermione Granger and the Alien Queen rank above Buffy? That's just not right...

Quoted: Women of Firefly - Joss Whedon certainly knows how to write them. A calculating warrior woman. A bubbly mechanic. A spiritual courtesan. A girl genius with bad ass mood swings. They break sterotypes, engage in all kinds of activities that would get them killed on other shows and live through it all to fly another day.

This one I think they got right!!! (edit: The Women of Firefly came in at #4)

Zoic Studios - Best of Serenity Reel

For all the Browncoats out there...

Quoted: As the primary visual effects company on this Universal Pictures release, Zoic created approximately 270 shots for this film adaptation of the 20th Century Fox television series "Firefly" - created by Joss Whedon.

Can't Stop the Serenity - Seattle Browncoats

It's been far far too long since my last dot, but this seemed like a good one to get back on the wagon.

This Saturday, 6/23, is Joss Whedon's birthday and so Browncoats (Firefly Fans in case ya didn't know) around the world are having charity screenings of Serenity.

If you've never seen Serenity, well then you should totally go on Saturday. If you've already seen Serenity come on out and check it out on the Big Screen again.

$8 in advance $10 at the door to see the Big Damn Heroes on the Big Screen again. I'll be there, and it's SO worth it :-)
