Patricia Sanders aka "Jewels of Awe"

Quoted: Made with My Cool Signs.Net Mom and me in Mexico riding horses 1980 I was 10 years old ♫ I am a poet, wife, mother, CNA, HHA, RNA, reiki master, hypnotist, lover of dogs, meditator, photographer, oh and I am a red head. I have been meditating since I was a teenager. I went to a Lutheran school for Kindergarten through 8th grade. I learned the Bible and about Jesus there. For high school I decided to go to a public high school, my best friend telling me she was going influenced my decision of course. So, I attended Newport Harbor High School in Newport Beach, CA. I absolutely loved high school. I spent alot of time at the beach which is walking distance from the school. I got married fairly young (age 20) and had three daughters in the span of 5 years. I don't recommend doing it that way (so close together). I began writing poetry when I was about 12. I wrote stories before that. My first story was called 'Champion the Horse'. It was about a girl with a sister, both of whom got lost in the forest where they found a horse they could race in the grand prix. That horse won over and over. Meanwhile they still stayed lost in the forest away from their parents. Yes, I know it makes no sense. I was 10 years old. What can I say? In my twenties I joined a woman's spiritual group. We meditated, made drums, learned. It was a cool group to be a part of. My third daughter was born during that time and actually attended for the first 6 months of her life because I was nursing her. I went back to school at 35, believe it or not. I was afraid I would not be able to pass, since it had been so long since I had been in school. I did not do well in high school either as I was too busy doing other things like socializing, working and going to the beach and parties. I studied my butt off to make sure I passed. I studied so hard I ended up getting highest GPA in the class and was proud of my accomplishment. I went on to work for a company doing my CNA work for a while until I moved. After moving I got a job Managing a home of 6 retarded women. I loved the job! It was so much fun. I laughed and joked with the women all the time. I had to drive an old van and would tell them each time I went in it, 'Let's get in the Scooby Van and go solve a mystery'. Lots of fun!
