    i planted 5 last saturday if you guys are right at 3
    weeks im gonna go crazy been checking on them daily,
    making sure no weeds and ground is moist. supposed to
    start raining here for the next week and colder again.

    Warm days will help. Water twice a week - allow the soil to dry out
    between waterings. Just a guess - about 3 weeks to a month when
    starting with rhizomes. Watch for purple shoots - they look sort of
    like asparagus.
