This is the monopod I own. Costs $25-30. My requirements were: at least 60" max height (I'm tall), very light weight, collapsible to < 24", soft grip, rubber & spike foot, wrist strap. This met them all for a very reasonable price and came with a case.Their 1600 model also looks good -- for $20 more, it's collapsible to 18"
