There will be a visitation for Mandy Annis on Tuesday 6. May at 7:30
P.M. at Cavalry Memorial Church, 931 Lake Street.

All members of the cycling community who wish to pay their respects are
welcome.

Those who wish to ride together to the visitation from the city, gather
at 6:00 PM to leave by 6:30 in front of the Handlebar, 2311 W. North Ave.

a video just aired on local TV condemning Alleycats as dangerous, illegal, and irresponsible hooliganry.

they suggest that the pigs should try and break up the next (and all forthcoming) alleycats...

Chicago bicyclists, Mayor Daley knows your pain.

The mayor introduced an ordinance Wednesday that would slap fines ranging from $150 to $500 on motorists who turn left or right in front of someone on a bicycle; pass with less than three feet of space between car and bike; and open a vehicle door into the path of a cyclist.

Daley, an avid rider, said he personally has been involved in unhappy encounters with motorists, providing them with "a few choice words" and "salutes" that he said were delivered "in the Chicago way."
