this place is the mother of all burger joints.
      metal music in the air
enormous amazing variety of burgers named after metal bands
      metal records on the wall
      chipotle mayo
      local craft-brew beers on tap

i mean, it's like heaven. if there was a 'sex room', i might never leave.

Amazon.com: A Reader's Guide to Blood Meridian: Shane Schimpf, Art Chantry: Books

    the book blurb says:

"[...]In addition to these materials, the book includes a subject index and an essay that interprets the novel in Nietzschean terms thereby unifying many of the related but disparate elements that dominate the text."

i'm terrified and intrigued all at once. the book seems hardly nietzschean in sentiment, yet the pervasive unrepenting violence could be read well if someone knew their nietzsche. i don't know. i kind of want to check it out, even if it ends only in lol-tears.

Trimmer, Luce Guillen Givins, Erik Oseland, Nathanael Secor, Robert Czernik, Garrett Fitzgerald, and Max Spector, face up to 7 1/2 years in prison under the terrorism enhancement charge which allows for a 50% increase in the maximum penalty. Rage Against the Machine Lead March to RNC After Police Shut Down Impromptu Show : Rolling Stone : Rock and Roll Daily

Quoted: The rumors of a secret Rage Against the Machine concert turned out to be halfway true late Tuesday afternoon, when local blogs confirmed the free show on the lawn of the Minnesota State Capitol at 6:30 p.m. But, reportedly, as Anti-Flag — one of the scheduled performers for the Ripple Effect music festival — introduced RATM, police suddenly shut the concert down, despite the fact that the festival had a legal permit until 7 p.m. When the angry crowd’s chants of “Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me” failed to start the show, frontman Zack de la Rocha and guitarist Tom Morello performed an a cappella version of “Bulls on Parade,” handing a megaphone back and forth between them for the lyrics and music — Morello making the “bow-wow-wow-wakka-chikkas” with his mouth.
