"The Report of the Departmental Committee on Homosexual Offences and Prostitution (better known as the Wolfenden report, after Lord Wolfenden, the chairman of the committee) was published in Britain on 4 September 1957 after a succession of well-known men, including Peter Wildeblood, were convicted of homosexual offences.
[...] Disregarding the conventional ideas of the day, the committee recommended that "homosexual behaviour between consenting adults in private should no longer be a criminal offence". All but James Adair were in favour of this and, contrary to some medical and psychiatric witnesses' evidence at that time, found that "homosexuality cannot legitimately be regarded as a disease, because in many cases it is the only symptom and is compatible with full mental health in other respects."ShareViewed: 4 Times

Quoted: Condemned to six years in prison, Malik El Djebena cannot read not write. Arriving at the jail entirely alone, he appears younger and more fragile than the other convicts. He is 19 years old. Cornered by the leader of the Corsican gang who rules the prison, he is given a number of “missions” to carry out, toughening him up and gaining the gang leader’s confidence in the process. But Malik is brave and a fast learner, daring to secretly develop his own plans.

so, turns out, the concept of the Invisible Party, authored (to my knowledge) by Tiqqun in 1999, actually (and perhaps ironically?) had a significant public life in Sweden in 2006. This wiki describes the events, but does not make the link to Tiqqun's work.
It also shows some interesting reactions to the idea from mainstream and conservative vantages, ranging from a rejection of it qua "vanguardism" (nonsense), to actually mistaking them for an existing Molar organization that belonged on the electoral ballot.
quoted: "Every time you refuse to obey your boss, or cheat on an exam, or screw that job application-course, you’re not alone. You're part of the Invisible Party, the actual movement that undermines capitalism."

Quoted: An Italian singer wrote this song with gibberish to sound like English. If you've ever wondered what other people think Americans sound like, this is it.

One of the first true heavy metal bands, and easily one of the most influential. This is the 1971 debut album from Cardiff's "Budgie", and it basically just rules. rules. rules.

You must be HEARSE-DOG McJUSCHER's friend before you can comment on this Fave.Look, as a former DC resident, I can tell you that we are thrilled to have a mayor who knows how to ride a bike at all. Also he is responsible for tripling the number of bike paths, committing to bike parking on all city property, creating a bike rental program and making this crazy bike station thing. http://www.bikestation.com/washingtondc/index.asp
I mean, he's no Marion Berry, but he's still got time to develop a coke and hooker habit that will clog city traffic.
