BBC NEWS | Europe | French wine-growers go guerrilla

property destruction seems to me a perfectly viable means of social protest, and since this is economically based and not a 'french wine vs foreignness in general' thing, i support it. i only wonder about the narrow scope of their concerns. I'd like to see farmers and agricultural workers more broadly band together...but something is at least something. I find myself saying that last part often with respect to French radical politics lately.

Quoted: Guns and balaclavas appear in France's vineyards as despairing growers struggle for a living price for their wine.
