Seattle Newcomer Examiner - Curry Conundrum: Where's Seattle's amazing Indian cuisine?

My latest blog post. Mom, I think you'll enjoy the last paragraph :)

Quoted: Seattle Newcomer Examiner - Seattle's got some fantastic restaurants, like Wild Ginger and Palace Kitchen. But there's still something missing - the South Asian equivalent (that is, a restaurant/lounge with authentic but inventive Indian food and great ambiance).

    Glow-in-the-dark shrimp -- it's all a little fishy - MSNBC.com

Dude, turn your lights out before eating seafood. Apparently the FDA isn't doing anything to test these glow-in-the dark shrimp because no one's gotten sick from them. But one woman, who ate the shrimp unknowingly (because how many people turn off the lights to 'test' their seafood), said her cat refused to eat the glowing shrimp.

Quoted: Cooked shrimp that glows in the dark? That's what two shoppers say they inadvertently bought in Seattle supermarkets. Harmful? Probably not. Creepy? Probably.

Rialto Pasta Bar and Grill, Seattle

Ate here last night - I think it might be the best pasta I've had in Seattle so far! The prices are reasonable (you get a lot of food for your money) and they've got a good/affordable wine list. It's a chill environment, the staff is nice, and I hear the homemade ice cream sandwich is amazing (but I was too full to try it).

Quoted: Seattle's favorite Italian family restaurant located just steps from Green Lake. Serving authentic Italian food with home made pasta and sauces.

    Pumpkin Treats on Seattle Citysearch

Oh my god, this is my DREAM page! Citysearch has a guide on where you can find all things pumpkin in Seattle! It's an excellent start, but seeing as I'm pumpkin obsessed, I'd say this is not an entirely comprehensive list. Haha.

Quoted: There are more uses for fall's favorite gourd than pie or decoration. These Seattle restaurants, bars and spas describe ways to eat it, drink it and slather it on your face. Hand Picked by Citysearch Editors!
