    It will be interesting to see if Franken is able to overcome some of the hesitations voters might have about his comedian past.

    Quoted: Americans say they want to be represented by "real people" and not by "professional politicians." This year a professional jokester, Al Franken (a Democrat), is challenging a professional politician, incumbent Norm Coleman (a Republican), for a Senate seat from Minnesota.

      yeah, same here! haha, i know, that's a pretty arcane word. i only know what it means because of a joke in "Monsoon Wedding" that inspired me to look it up :)
