Once you get through the initial praise for McCain and Palin, David Brooks actually makes a good case for why McCain/Palin isn't a strong ticket (gasp!) - they are trying to substitute a moral philosophy for a political philosophy. Well said.

I would tend to agree with this article. I think bloggers should cool it a little so that they don't run the risk of making the left look impulsive, and ready for some serious mudslinging at the drop of a hat.
