I'm surprised Fox would allow a female president on its network - might seem like it's tacitly endorsing Hilary. Ha. Let's see how this actually pans out - there has to be an ulterior motive (or the ratings are just down).
Quoted: The US will have a female president next year - on the Fox series "24."

Aw, he was the original Andy Richter!
Quoted: Ed McMahon, the loyal “Tonight Show” sidekick who bolstered boss Johnny Carson with guffaws and a resounding “H-e-e-e-e-e-ere’s Johnny!” for 30 years, died early Tuesday. He was 86.

Another edition of the "Ads We Hate" mailbag from Slate. Love it.
Quoted: The slogan on Greyhound's most recent ad campaign: "There's a reason you've never heard of 'bus rage.' " A clever line, extolling the alleged laid-back nature of bus travel. Two problems. 1) I myself have experienced "bus rage"—every single time I've ridden a bus. 2) The ads went up just in time for the occurrence of what must be the absolute worst case of bus rage in history.

Ha, awesome initiative. I'm applying for a job here!
Quoted: MANAGUA, Nicaragua -- It's been more than a quarter of a century since the Sandinistas toppled the dictatorship of Anastasio Somoza, yet the struggle for personal freedom and self-determination here continues.

Based on what I've seen, I'm not surprised Muslim groups have a problem with the show.
Quoted: Muslim groups protested when the plot of the hit Fox drama "24" cast Islamic terrorists as the villains who launched a stolen nuclear missile in an attack on America.

You must be shiwani's friend before you can comment on this Fave.Considering that it's Fox, I bet they'll make her character completely inept and incompetent at the job--especially when it comes to dealing with terrorism.
Knowing Joel Surnow, that's precisely what I'd expect to happen based on this. Still surprising to think that they'd have a female president on "24." <sarcasm> Maybe they should have just hired Rudy Giuliani to play his normal heroic self as president?</sarcasm> That's what I would have expected.
