Another reason why NY is awesome... I ate at Risotteria and didn't even realize their food was gluten-free!
Quoted: New bakeries and pizzerias that prepare gluten-free foods have popped up all over New York City, and restaurants that were already celiac-friendly have expanded their menus. Risotteria is a nationally known hub for people with celiac disease.

This cute little Italian place is basically right off the ferry in Bainbridge - in fact, it's walking distance. The pasta, sauces, breads, and even some cheeses are all made on-site and they're absolutely delicious. Also some great wines to choose from! Hard to be believe such a tiny place could be so good!

Yeah, I never really understood the point of kids' menus, other than the fun activities and the smaller portions/cheaper prices. Why would you feed your kid chicken fingers when you're out at a nice restaurant? Eating different cuisines at an early age is the best way to develop a palate for them...
Quoted: America is in the grips of a nefarious chicken-finger pandemic, in which a bland tasting foodstuff has somehow become the de facto official nibble of our young.

Yum, this is officially my new favorite breakfast spot in the U-District! It's so cozy, they have a really extensive menu (including gluten-free items), and there's a pancake topping bar with all kinds of fruit!
Quoted: For over 9 years, Portage Bay has provided some of Seattle's best breakfasts and lunches. Over the years, we have increased our commitment to organic and whole foods, as well as offering some of the most original menu items at reasonable prices.
