I want to see this while it's on tour in Seattle! Hope it's not sold out... Mo, I'm looking in your general direction as the only other Jerseyan I know in Seattle...

Woohoo, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings are playing Neumos in December! Anyone want to come? This is a show that won't disappoint. She's got soul like James Brown or Big Mama Thornton and her back-up band plays with Amy Winehouse. She's got so much energy - saw her at an outdoor show in NY when it was 100 degrees and she was still amazing.
Quoted: Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings at Neumos on December 8, 2007.

Moz is coming to Seattle on May 6! His solo work just gets better with age...
Quoted: Morrissey met guitarist Johnny Marr in 1982 and the two began writing songs together, forging one of the most productive partnerships British pop had seen in quite some time - The Smiths. Possessed of a darkly cynical bent as a lyricist, he was often misinterpreted as advocating some of the more disturbing things he sang about, which only added to the furor surrounding the band.
