My latest blog post - yummy restaurants around Seattle serving Thanksgiving dinner. There are even a couple Indian ones that do tandoori turkey :)
Quoted: Expensive plane tickets and maddening airport lines got you staying in Seattle this Thanksgiving? Are you relatively new in town and worried you're trading in that traditional New England Thanksgiving dinner with family for Tofurky and watching the Peanuts Thanksgiving special alone?

Working out of here today and really love it - vibrant atmosphere. Just wish the WiFi connection was a little better...
Quoted: Tougo's is one of the best places to hang in this part of the neighborhood. A great place for quiet meetings or to just hang out and get some work done. They also have a new kid-friendly area in the back. The owner, Brian, is righteous. They have a good tea selection in addition to the usual. Great little hidden-away spot in Cap Hill/Central District.

My latest blog post ... about bagels ... yum.
Quoted: Greetings from New York, where I am currently in bagel bliss. I know, New Yorkers can be obnoxious about their bagels, among other things. But experiencing the chewy goodness all over again has got me thinking - maybe there really is something in the water tha tmakes New York bagels so damn tasty and tough to replicate.

My latest blog post. Mom, I think you'll enjoy the last paragraph :)
Quoted: Seattle Newcomer Examiner - Seattle's got some fantastic restaurants, like Wild Ginger and Palace Kitchen. But there's still something missing - the South Asian equivalent (that is, a restaurant/lounge with authentic but inventive Indian food and great ambiance).

Finally checking this place out! I have reservations for the deck and, of course, plans to see the burlesque show afterwards :)
Quoted: The Pink Door - Italian-American Restaurant & Cabaret Lounge - Seattle, Washington. Located in Pike Place Market. Enjoy outdoor dining on our deck with spectacular views of the Puget Sound.

Checking this place out on Sunday - looking forward to it! Sri, saw you had a decent experience there and I do want to go someplace other than Le Pichet...
Quoted: The menu draws heavily on traditional French fare, including a complex and satisfying onion soup and a decadent chicken liver parfait. Mussels, a popular main course, are cooked with sparkling wine, cream, parsley and hunks of bacon.

Ooooh, I must investigate - this place claims to be a true East Coast deli!
Quoted: A true East coast deli in Seattle? You bet! The Other Coast Café, with two locations, one nestled between hip new and old shops on Ballard Avenue and a second new location in downtown Seattle at Union Square, offers some of the best Deli Sandwiches in town.

Writing an article about this...
Quoted: Scholar/activist Raj Patel, a former policy analyst with Food First who has been on the frontlines of public protest (tear-gassed on four continents), is here with a vital, internationally-praised book on globalization and food, Stuffed and Starved: The Hidden Battle for the World Food System.
