This is an article about CTY: The Center for Talented Youth, which is a summer camp for gifted youth that Johns Hopkins created and runs out of over 100 colleges internationally. I taught here as a Resident when I was in college, and this is the first nationally published article I have seen from anyone that is associated with CTY. This author happens to be a former camper - from the 80's. I wasn't impressed with the beginning of her writing, because it sounded so derogatory, but by the end she embraced it, just like al lof my students and colleagues did. It's a nice peak into the nerd world.
