A very good analysis of the Obama phenomenon... with some good questions raised. And, if the new Obama fans do actually turn into voters in the primary, will they stick around for the general or be burned out on elections and politics by then?
Quoted: Tuesday’s primary results did not match the fervor that had been signaled by Barack Obama’s dramatic march of rallies leading up to the vote...
In that dynamic rests one of the central questions about the Obama candidacy, which may well go the heart of whether he can win the presidency. Is this campaign a series of surges of enthusiasm, often powered by the younger voters who form long lines waiting to hear Mr. Obama speak, that set expectations that are not met at the voting booth?

This is a really well written article about why consensus is not always the answer. Not to mention, it made me revisit a big reason why I am supporting Hillary on Feb 9th -- Obama continues to advocate for nuclear as part of the energy "solution" whereas Hillary has made it clear that until the nuclear waste issue is solved, she will not support nuclear energy.
Quoted: An Illinois controversy pitting two important constituencies against each other put Barack Obama’s legislative skills to the test.
