      Sorry, I looked anyway ;-) Actually, I didn't find it offensive. He's arrogant, I suppose. But I know the angry Christians he's talking about. I believe the bumper sticker, "God, protect me from your followers," may apply here. It's unfortunate. I think the heart of the Christian faith is not being driven by guilt (or fear of hell), but driven by gratitude for God's grace and love, the natural result being (one would hope) an uncommon manifestation of those same traits.

      i agree with you - i'm currently reading the book 'life of pi' and there's a segment in the book (so far there's an indian boy who decides to become a Hindu, Muslim and Christian) where three priests find out that his practicing all three religions and argue that theirs is the right one. to which the boy replies "Bapu Gandhi said, 'All religions are true.' I just want to love God."
