    Cooking Light - Roasting Bell Peppers - Healthy Recipes and Menus

    Step 1 - Cut bell peppers
    Cut bell peppers in half lengthwise; discard seeds and membranes.

    Step 2 - Place peppers on baking sheet
    Place pepper halves, skin sides up, on a foil-lined baking sheet; flatten with hand.

    Step 3 - Broil Bell Peppers
    Broil 3 inches from heat for 10 to 12 minutes or until blackened. Place in zip-top plastic bag; seal and let stand for 15 minutes. (This will loosen the skins and make peeling them much easier.)

    Step 4 - Peel Peppers
    Peel and discard skins. Store roasted peppers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

    #!E#T#^&*$@!!!!!

    why do i never learn. went to Barnes & Nobles after checking out Golden Gardens and i came across this cook book.

    i've been thinking about my past eating habits, meaning everything before college when i still lived with my parents. my eating habits back then was that of a vegitarian - not because we were, but because we just ate a lot of vegi and seafood dishes. i miss that, now it seems that every meal i have is around a meat dish.

    i've also wanted to learn how to cook some korean dishes - my past look into korean cooking books have been horrible! korean cookbooks written by some japanese cook - nooo thank you. i'm looking for things my mom used to make. found this book - the various dishes remind me of the stuff my mom cooked so i picked it up.

    so why all the complaint earlier? well - i purchased this book at B&N - and when i was looking at it i was wondering if i should wait until i got home to get it on amazon.com... then i just got it. i payed $29.95 + tax at B&N - had i waited i would've only paid $17.33. :(
