after waiting for 3-4 years my friend has finally launched his portfolio site. pretty damn slick - love the loading, transitions and simple UI. also love the fact his examples are large (not thumbnails you have to click to view).

interesting navigation on the site - it follows the notion of just hover. it isn't too bad - but does get a bit odd when you wanna do something else - meaning you can't stay on one item unless you keep your mouse on a specific area.

beautiful online interactive gallery. sadly it's either in dutch or french - neither of which i speak/read, but the art work is beautiful and you don't need language to appreciate art.

very cool website using flash.
it's very playful but kinda hard to navigate as you end up being distracted by all the motion / interaction.

interesting flash site which allows you to paint like jackson pollock... well not really, but still pretty darn cool.

from the illustrator who does 'adhemas' website - found this site. beautiful illustrations - considering it's a website for sandles! how bloodie cool is that!

nice site - it's a bit of a wait to load the sucker - but once it does it's very very nice. the navigation is timeline based which you control / navigate using your mouse wheel or arrow keys on your keyboard. their work is pretty good as well.

one minor note - wish i could pan left & right using mouse :( you can only do this using your arrow keys.

i've seen this nav system elsewhere - just can't remember where. but with that stated - it's a great nav system + the guy's work is great.

love the fact that it's all in place and to enlarge and close the work is simple.

very very cool - flash + video / great ui as well. saidly can't read a thing on the site. :(
