    Club Pick: Sun Liquor (Seattle Weekly)

    just coming back from sun liquor - the crowd is super nice + the bartender is very kind in his pour. highly recommended if you're looking for a chill place to just relax w. friends.

    i also enjoyed the fact that the bartender remembered my name. a great place if you're looking for a chill place to relax w. friends.

    plus - all drinks that require citrus (oranges/lime/lemon) are fresh squeezed. i really wanna try this place out when oranges are in season. i'm thinking that screwdrivers + whiskey sours are amazing when it's the season.

    Belltown Billiards: Home Page

    after going to columbia tower club we went to belltown billards (we being jasmine, champagne, gigi and myself). there we meet a bunch of jasmine's friends who were already there - one of which turned out to be the owner of belltown billiards.

    his name is ryan - and i was a bit shocked by how young he looked (apparently his around 27? 28?). he was a very nice host in that he bought drinks and such - but more importantly he just seemed like a nice guy. plus the thing that impressed me most was as girls from the party left - he actually walked them to their cars. nice. i know that he walked them to their car because he did this a few times during the nite + when we left he walked us to our cars.

    he didn't have to - but the fact that he did impressed me quite a bit.

    now as for the review of the actual place. i was also surpised. i've been to belltown billiards on a weekend but never on a weekday (it was thursday after all) and it had a nice feel. the place had enough people that it didn't feel empty - but it wasn't so packed like during the weekends that it good humid and couldn't move around.

    + the ratio of guys to gals was very nice (again to my shock) + around 11pm ish they had go-go dancers. ummm... yeah, they were super hot. + they had some random person dressed as 'bud man' - when i asked ryan who that was - he stated he didn't know. i thought that was pretty cool. 'bud man' seemed to be working the room and being nice to everyone - very nice. all in all - i'm gonna have to check out this place more often during the weekday.

    Columbia Tower Club

    so went to the columbia tower club yesterday with jasmine (who was kind enough to invite me), champagne and gigi. it was my first time being there and i was slightly annoyed that i couldn't wear jeans to this place.

    apparently they have a dress code - i dislike places with dress codes... but after going there i had a very lovely time. what jasmine said about this place sums it up very well. 'you can get drinks anywhere. you can find better food then here - but you can't beat the view.'

    that sums it up. the view was simply amazing. we arrived there around 8pm. was there having drinks and dinner. the sun was setting - it was an amazing view. then after the sun set - seeing the city light up - fantastic.

    i would highly recommend this place to take out of towners - it's a great place to watch the sunset.

    FYI - not sure if you need a membership to this place. :P

    redotting this with a review.

    went here last night - it turned out great. great beers (all imported from germany), great food (tastie, not too expensive and huge portions), and they have AC!

    we started out with just two tables - then as the night progressed and more of our friends showed up we added another table... and then another table... and then... you get the idea. by the end of the nite we pretty much took over 1/2 the place.

    it isn't a large place, but large enough. then we decided (some of us) to play 'asshole' - it's a drinking game... and all hell broke loose! :)

    it was great fun - i'd definiately go here again, the staff was nice + fast, the beers were supa tastie (they have a sampler), their food was great. check it out.

    Google Maps : Feierabend Location

    EVENT / LOCATION :
    here is the location (google maps) of the place i'll be going to at 7pm today. it's called 'Feierabend' - supposed to be a new german bar with authentic german beer + food.

    422 Yale Ave N, Ste A
    Seattle, WA 98109

    Hours : 11:30 am - 1 am
    Happy Hour : 3 pm - 6 pm

    WEATHER :
    as i'm dotting weather.com is stating it's 84 F
    High = 92 F (sunrise - 5:35 AM)
    Low = 67 F (sunset - 8:56 PM)

    ADDITIONAL INFO : YES AC
    so because the matador (last nite) was so bloodie hot / humid thought i'd call Feierabend to see if they had AC - the answer - YES!
