ended up going here last night instead of tabella - yes i know, i was suppose to go here on friday. but ended up going to vice roy on friday... it's complicated. anyways here's my review of venom.
as some of you know this was formerly known as Medusa - until all the shootings and fights that happened there. then came the name change (typical). the cover was $15 for men / $10 for gals. wtf... understood that it's not alot alot - but for seattle that's alot. especially considering that women had to pay cover too.
but all in all it was good. a lot of asians were in this club. i haven't seen that many asians in one place since i went to korea! the gals were pretty cute - some of my friends started mackin' so we let them work. but then they learned that gals from seattle are more about being seen then meeting new peeps.
would i go back? eh... not my kinda scene. the music was a wee bit too hip hoppy - i love hip hop but it isn't the best to dance too. the cover did me in and the crowd is/was very young. very early 20's... again - not my scene, but if you're all about eye candy and being seen this would be the place for you. also if like asian peeps it'll help. :P

so after our lovely happy hour - we were left with $35 extra. i tried to give this money back but they all stated that i should have it to buy more drinks... ooooookay! :)
so i'm heading out to venom tonight around 11pm and who ever catches me before this $35 is gone, i'll buy your ass a drink! FYI - hurry cause i'm a heavy drinker and so are my friends :P

sung | Shared With: Everyone - Jun 18 2006 | seattle, downtown, club, restaurant, reviewwent to ibiza last nite - the place is great if you're meeting people for drinks or dinner. the atmosphere is great. the place is divided into three main areas - the bar area (which has a round area where you can sit), the lounge area (which has seating and a bed - yes a bed) and a dining area.
the place isn't great for meeting anyone new - it's more of a gathering place. the music was nice, drinks pretty good - overall a great place. i haven't tried out their food - but was told it was pretty good.
